James Williamson is a professor, architect and author in Memphis, Tennessee. His books include the novel ''Ravine'' (2013) (Sunstone Press) and ''The Architect''.〔 Williamson teaches architecture at the University of Memphis.〔 He became a Fellow (FAIA) in 2005 at the American Institute of Architects (AIA). His practice specializes in the renovation of existing and the design of new religious buildings.
